positional therapy

Positional therapy is a gentle, effective therapy for the treatment of chronic and acute muscular pain and for increasing range of motion.

Positional therapy applies a combination of active stretching and passive positional adjustments designed to slacken tense muscles and restore blood flow and ease to tight, overworked muscles.

It's gentle and yet profound in its capacity to release muscular tension and resolve pain, from neck tension to plantar fasciitis to low back pain and more.

Relief is immediate and long lasting.

Additionally at the end of each session you'll learn simple daily exercises you can easily incorporate into your life to maintain your results.

Treatments cost $195/session. Sessions last approximately 75 minutes.

"As a sufferer of chronic lower back pain, I was surprised and excited to see how responsive my body was to positional therapy. Yiska provided sturdy and gentle support as she guided me into a variety of slight changes of position that eased the stress on my back and hips. I actually felt various muscles release by the end of the session! The difference was notable at the time, but more importantly, for days after. It was incredible and enduring support, Yiska might just be a miracle worker!" S.K.

"In my recent Positional Therapy with Yiska, I was treated to a comprehensive bodywork session tailored to my body's needs at that particular place and time. Afterward I commented that I felt she had taken me on the Da Vinci Vitruvian (wo)man drawing in 3-D, right there on her table. I liken it to a one on one assisted yoga class, or a dry swim on a bodywork surface; there was resistance, breath-work, and support, in each position. This created an extremely satisfying experience. I felt like I was well hung drapery, velvety smooth and hanging in all of the right places to show off my form." J.M.
