A rebozo is the Mexican word that refers to a beautifully woven shawl used during pregnancy, childbirth, and baby wearing by women in many cultures around the world.

This wonderful tool has been adopted over the years by many professional doulas as an additional way to bring comfort to our clients during labor.

In this little video, my fellow doula, Ashley Brichter and I demonstrate 3 helpful ways to use the rebozo during pregnancy and labor to support your clients and/or partner.

As you will see, the rebozo can be a tremendous source of comfort by being used to hold, lift, envelope, and support women in a variety of ways.

These are our top 3! Enjoy and share your insights in the comments.
